Where is our home???

Seriously!! We have been looking for a house for about 8 months and are having 0% luck. It is super frustrating. We have found the perfect house several times, but then it ends up being way to expensive! Then we find the right price, and it's built in the 1800's. ha ha
If you see any cute homes that aren't ancient please let us know!!!!! One of these days it'll happen and we will be SO happy to move out of our apt and into something with a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. Yes, sadly we don't have either one. The day that I can do laundry at my own house will be a day to celebrate. It's so funny the thing that you take for granted, and then when you don't have them they seem like a luxury. :) Well I guess I've learned to be more grateful!!!!

My prince charming

"Why do I love you? Because you are and always have been my dream."

-unknown

I just got a wedding invitation from a friend and it made me think about my great marriage. I seriously have the greatest husband in the world!!! He is so patient with me and is always thinking of ways to make me smile. From the second I saw him I had an instant love. (My 5th grade crush, but didn't attend the same school until high-school) I have known of Clay since the 5th grade, and all through jr high I still had my eye on him. Then high-school came around, and I would get a never-ending smile every time I saw him. He has always been the type to surprise me with little gifts or cute notes. As he says now, "Tiff has a few birthdays every year." I'll come home to a little present wrapped and a cute note. I couldn't have a found a more perfect person for me. He is such a hard worker and I want him to know how much I appreciate him!! What more can I say, He's my PRINCE CHARMING!

Living the good life

We went on a dinner cruise one of our lasts nights and had steak and lobster!! yum, yum.

We watched a guy climb this tree so we thought we'd try.... ha ha we didn't quite make it to the top.

Whale watching

mom and I while we were on our whale watching tour. It was so neat, we saw a mother and baby whale, we got some neat pictures (I'll put those on later)

Hawaii !!!!!!!

We just came home from Hawaii and are so wishing we were still there! It was 80 degree weather there, so coming home to 17 degree's is not something to look forward to. We had such a great time though. We got a tattoo (fake of course) at the PCC so we thought we'd show them off :)  It was a great trip, we did all of the typical Hawaiian things, North shore, PCC, ate incredible food, got the famous shaved ice, went whale watching (my favorite!), a dinner cruise out into the sunset, the boys went on two dives, and tons of just hanging out. It was a great trip!!!!

Clay's new love!

Clay went snowmobiling with my dad today!! They went down to Fairview, apparently there was a ton of powder. I'm pretty sure that if he could sled everyday he would be the happiest guy on earth.

Love this show!!

This is our FAVORITE show. (well one of them) You have to watch it, it is so inspiring and neat to see how much weight these people loose. It's on Tuesday nights at 7:00.  They just started a new season, it's couples!!!

P.S I Love You

So we went and saw P.S. I love you tonight with my parents. I had no idea what to expect. I heard it was suppose to be the best love movie of the season and I'm all about chick-flicks, so I was excited to see it. If you go and see it just do something that I didn't and bring a box a tissues. I cried the entire movie. It was a good movie, yet very sad!!(especially if you put yourself in her situation) Hillary Swank is amazing in it. Let me know what you thought of the movie!!!

Keep dreamin'

And yes, this is my New Years DREAM resolution!!!

Someday!!!!

Clay's dream car!!!
bubbletop

This is Clay's New Years (DREAM) resolution!!
Maybe not this new year, but sometime in the next 10 or so...!!

Happy NEW YEAR!!!!

We had such a fun New Years!!! I was so glad, because I feel like New Years is one of those holidays that you get so excited about, and then it is somewhat of a let down. Let's be honest, there is not that much to do in provo, Utah. However, we were talking with Lindy and Matt and they were saying that we should all go up to their cabin in Sundance and go sledding, then skiing the next morning. Sounded good to us, so we grabbed some treats at the store and then went up to Clay's grandma's house. We played a few games and said hello to the cousins and then headed up the canyon. When we got there all of the guys went sledding (extreme sledding) and the girls stayed at the cabin and chatted, as well as read up on the latest hollywood gossip. When the clock struck midnight the guys were just walking in the door from sledding so we had our own countdown at 12:02 and toasted with our spiced apple cider!!! It was pretty funny. Needless to say that was just the beginning of our night. We ended up staying awake talking until 5:30 in the morning!!!!! Can't wait until tomorrow afternoon when our tiredness catches up to us. (it was worth it) New years morning Clay woke up and hit a few runs on the slopes with Matt, after-which we headed home to get a few things done around our little apt. It was a fun New Years!

GETTING TO KNOW YOU...

1. If you could wake up tomorrow speaking a foreign language fluently, which would it be? Tiff-spanish for sure, then I could understand clay when he tries to tell secrets.

2. Which parts of your home do you like best? Well considering our apt is the size of a shoe box, I'd have to say our closet for sure!!! The closet is super big (the only big room in the house)

3. What about getting older makes you most afraid? Wow, that's a loaded question... I guess of all the many dreadful things about aging I'd have to say, saggy skin!!

4. What jobs have you had in your life? Which did you like best? Red rock creamery, Dance instructor, and server at Ruby River,  ummmmmmm my favorite. Wow, I don't have one. Kind of sad, but none of them were things I could do for the rest of my life and still love doing it. (Hopefully my next job is a keeper)

5. What games are you the best at playing? NOT SURE??

6. Can you remember the telephone number you had when you were ten years old? Sure can!  375-9608

7. What is one thing you admire about each of your parents? Dad- I have to say his determination. When he puts his mind to something, you know it will get done. Mom- Her thoughtfulness. I can honestly say that I have never met anyone who cares (and worries :) ) about the well being of others more than herself.

8. What are some of your happiest memories about your married life together so far? There are so many, but to choose a few I'd have to say our first trip together (our honeymoon) it was the most relaxing and memorable trip ever. Another memory would definitely have to be sitting in our apt and laughing at each other for hours.

9. Would you rather work with your head or your hands? My head! It would be nice to make money off of your smarts!

10. Would you ever want to own your own company? Why or why not? Possibly, it does have it perks. However, it is a little stressful because YOU are the ultimate decision maker, and I am the most indecisive person in the world.

11. When we go out with friends for a social evening, what do you like to do the most? We love playing games!! Ink blotz is our new favorite.

12. What is your favorite thing about your spouse? One of my favorite things would have to be how thoughtful he is. He is always thinking of others before himself. Another would be his sensitive side. He is so sweet and ALWAYS doing cute things for me. He definitely makes me smile!!

This is a picture of Clay snowmobiling up at Timber lakes.
Clay and I went to a Jazz game!! (We sat on the front row.) Clay caught the ball twice, so he was loving life. It was so much fun. We had never been to a Jazz game together so it is a fun memory!

December 28, 2007

This is us sitting front row at the Jazz game!!! We had such a great time. That is something that we sadly probably won't do again for a really long time. We have the picture of Clay's hands in there because he caught the ball twice and was determined not to wash his hands after that. ha ha

Christmas Day!!!

Wow, Christmas is over and I can't believe it. Time goes so fast; especially the older you get. We had such a great Christmas, it was spent with our family's. Clay and I woke and opened the presents we bought for each other, then we headed up to Sandi's!!! We exchanged gifts there, then followed tradition by going to eat at IHOP. Although it was delicious, I feel bad eating out on Christmas because I feel so bad for the servers; but, I guess if they have to work they want to make some money. I love traditions, they makes the season complete. We always have Christmas Eve at one of the grandparents house, drive by the singing lights in Manila, watch our new Christmas movie, and of course the Forgotten Carols with Michael M. But getting back to Christmas day... we then went up to Clint and Sheryl's house up in Heber and spent awhile with them. Then, last but not least, we went up my parents house. We watched Oceans 13, and the boys had a killer ping pong tournament afterwards (CJ WON) Wow, what a crazy fun day!!! We got completely and 100% spoiled rotten. I'm sad that the Christmas season is over because it is fun spending so much time with our families. Sadly, after Christmas, life goes on, and work calls. Oh well, it's fun while it lasts!!! Hope you all had a great Christmas as well. Ta ta

Catchin' up

So today is Sunday the 23 of December and Clay and I decided that it is about time to make a blog. That way we can stay updated with friends and family!! We have just been busy with work and more work. Clay is pretty much done with landscaping for this year, and is spending his days snowmobiling with my dad. He looks at the weather every day in hopes for more snow. They are pretty crazy together (as you can see in the picture) Although he is loving the snow, he is also super exited for the snow to melt so that he can play GOLF!!! His birthday was this past week, so he bought a new driver and is ready to put it to some good use. I also bought some clubs this past summer and I am ready to break my clubs in too!!!
I am still at Ruby River and have been working a ton lately, sometimes I feel like I should bring a bed and sleep there (I feel like i live there) I was just offered the position of the banquet manager but had to turn it down because i wasn't sure if it was going to work out. Hopefully I don't regret that decision. I'm hoping to be out of the restaurant business soon!!!
Now on a more serious note, we are STILL looking to buy a house, but haven't  had any success. We decided that in order to own a house you must be a millionaire, and that we are NOT. Someday we will be able to move out of this shoe-box. (We do love our little apt and have had many great memories here, but are ready for more space. Most importantly, a dishwasher and washer and dryer!!!)
We're off for today but hope that you all have a Merry Christmas THIS Tuesday!!!

Nascar in Carolina

Clay and all of his brother's in N. Carolina for the Nascar race. It was a last minute thing, but luckily they were all able to make it. Clay still talks about this trip to this day, and what a fun memory it is. He and his brothers are all so close, I'm sure they didn't sleep much and I can only imagine the four of them in ONE hotel room.

Lake Powell

If you look REALLY close you'll see my mini jump!

Clay wasn't able to come to Powell this year because he was
in North Carolina for the dove hunt.

The Big Day!!!

YAY!!! I did it. I finally graduated from BYU. It feels so good to drive by campus and know that I don't have to hike those stairs of turn in one more paper to that school. Wa hoo.

My very FIRST fishing trip

Clay has a love for fishing, so he thought we should go up to Strawberry and cast a line or two. When we go there he prepped both of our poles and got the boat ready to go. I caught a fish right away!! So since it was my very first catch (EVER) clay said I had to kiss the fish. I was not about to kiss a slimy fish, but he insisted. So low and behold, I kissed my first fish that day. Luckily I didn't get any weird diseases; it is definitely a memory we'll never forget.
